Emily Bautista
Vice President

Major: Materials Sciene and Engineering
Graduation date: May 2019

My main responsibility as the Vice President of SWE is to coordinate with company sponsors and other organizations to plan meaningful general body meetings (GBM). I focus to center the GBM's on professional or social development and women empowerment in STEM. Beyond just the GBM's, I help out other officers as needed and continually suggest new initiatives and implement improvements in our organization.

After graduation, I cannot wait to get a cat! And also, a career within the aerospace field regarding additive manufacturing. When I have free time, I love knitting and listening to podcasts (mainly at the same time)! I also enjoy going to cultural/music events whenever possible and hiking as weather permits. I am SWE crazy, so if anyone is ever interested in learning about SWE beyond our colliegate section, I am your SWEester!
